We our currently on our mountain property on Santa Fe Trail Ranch, south of Trinidad, Colorado. We arrived here on April 30th, 2016 during an 8″ snowfall. Our mountain will be our base of operations for the next several months. We plan on doing some RV, Jeep and building upkeep, keeping the invasive Common Mullein (Verbascum Thapsus) and Canada Thistle (Cirsium arvense) at bay (it takes a mix of Roundup and 2-4-D to kill it) and cutting back the Gambel oak (Quercus gambelii) and New Mexican Locust (Robinia neomexicana) in the never-ending fire mitigation process. In addition, we will be taking some road trips, both with and without the bus, in order to continue our National Park tour and visit some other destinations. More on this later!
