Dry Tortugas National Park was awesome and loaded with history.  Located 70 miles west of Key West it is accessible by ferry or sea plane.  We took the ferry.  If you are prone to seasickness take the seaplane.  The seas were very rough on the way out and about half the boat was sick (including Bob):(  He got over it quickly and we had a wonderful day.  The  Captain told us they sell out of Dramamine on the way back…..ha.  The seas weren’t as rough going back but we took the Dramamine anyway.

The island is full of history from the Fort to the prisoners held there and you are free to wander throughout with a few exceptions.
